At least three people, including a child, have been killed in overnight Russian missile attacks near Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, as the country faces growing concerns over its ability to defend against continued aerial assaults.
The attacks came after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Ukraine’s supplies of missile interceptors were running dangerously low. The shortage could leave parts of the country increasingly vulnerable as Russia continues its campaign of missile and drone strikes.
