After Walmart failed in India in 1995, a new concept called “Think Global, Act Local” became one of the reasons why a Maldivian company called Buytner started implementing this concept on a global scale.

Buytner has introduced a new” partnership” model, under which foreign investors can conduct local business on any scale in the Maldives through a joint venture agreement. This partnership they called the ”buytnership”.

The company’s CEO, Eusoph, explained the concept further to Podazine, stating, “Many small and medium-scale investors are very interested in high ROI (Returns on Investment). The Maldives is one of the best countries for all small and medium-scale businesses due to lower risk and high ROI. The Buytner concept of SME business investment is approximately USD 60,000.”

”Welcome to all entrepreneurs who want to start businesses in Maldives and operate as locals. We are here to assist in developing and providing financial projections for any viable business in Maldives.”

”Foreign investors have not experienced any business failures in the Maldives in the last six years due to the guidance we have provided. For more information and advice, please visit the Buytner website,” he explained.
