Iranian state television has aired a disturbing video targeting Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of US President Donald Trump, and reportedly referring to a $10 million reward for information leading to his killing. The broadcast has raised fresh concerns over threats against the Trump family amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran.
The approximately three-minute report was broadcast on Iran’s Channel 3 and was also circulated by media outlets linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to multiple reports. The segment reportedly focused on Barron’s movements, university location and security arrangements, while presenting graphics that appeared to illustrate how someone might reach him despite his protective detail.
The video reportedly included the question of where and how Barron could be killed and claimed that his movements were being closely monitored. It also alleged that an unnamed woman had previously provided information about him to those behind the video. Other reported claims involved his online activity and personal connections. However, these assertions have not been independently verified.
The reported $10 million reward has attracted particular attention because of the explicit nature of the broadcast. The video appears to represent another escalation in threats directed at members of the US president’s family through Iranian state-linked media. Similar threatening material targeting Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump has previously appeared in Iranian media.
The US Secret Service is aware of the video and has said that it investigates material that could be interpreted as a threat against individuals under its protection. The agency has not publicly confirmed that the information shown in the broadcast represents a credible operational threat.
The incident comes amid already tense relations between the United States and Iran, adding a highly personal dimension to the broader confrontation between the two countries. Security officials are expected to assess whether the broadcast contains genuine intelligence, fabricated claims or propaganda intended to intimidate the Trump family.
While the reported bounty and the threats contained in the video are alarming, the specific claims about Barron Trump’s movements, security and alleged sources of information remain unverified.
