Russian Missile and Drone Barrage Kills 23 Across Ukraine in One of the Largest Attacks in Weeks

At least 23 people were killed and more than 130 injured after Russia launched a massive overnight missile and drone attack across Ukraine, marking one of the largest aerial assaults in recent weeks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the strikes, calling them another example of Russia’s ongoing campaign against civilian areas. He expressed condolences to the families of those killed and renewed appeals for additional international military assistance, particularly advanced air defense systems capable of protecting cities from large-scale missile and drone attacks.

The latest assault comes as fighting continues along several sections of the front line.
